Advocacy Day 2011 Results

Advocacy Day Participants on Capitol Hill, June 14, 2011

Thanks to all of your hard work, we are seeing great results from the Fifth Annual Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Day and the National Call-In!

Highlights include:

We reached all 100 U.S. Senators and 338 of the 435 U.S. Representatives.
Approximately 500 advocates representing all 50 states participated in Advocacy Day in Washington, DC.
Nearly 3,000 phone calls were placed to Congress during the National Call-In from volunteers across the country who were supporting our message.

In the days immediately after Advocacy Day, we secured dozens of new co-sponsorsonto the Pancreatic Cancer Research & Education Act (S. 362/H.R. 733). Click here to see the current list of co-sponsors in the Senate and click here for the current list of co-sponsors in the House.
